This creates $833k of cap space this year, and a smidge of cap penalty next year.

But why? If Darcy was making a big move, he doesn't need to clear space to exceed the cap today. And, it would have to be a HUGE move to even do that.

Can't figure this one out. It doesn't make sense for a team that prefers to "build from within". Did Kennedy piss somebody off??
