Big difference.

i love turco. dude played for michigan university, then the kalamazoo wings. they had his picture EVERYWHERE in the concourse at wings stadium. him and roman turek.

So you can't find another way to lower cap instead of a 1 mill difference on a season deciding goalie switch?

When they dump Huet somehwere that's over 5 mil saved right there. Looks to me that no matter what else happens Huet is getting dumped somewhere. Turco isn't bad, but he's got about two good seasons left, where Niemi has a whole career. Perhaps they know enough about Niemi and Crawford to feel very confidant that Crawford is better anyway.
