sad part is, if stafford cared half as much about hockey and he does music, he'd be an extremely solid player. until then he deserves the pressbox.

Well this move is fucked but really not a big deal. Before Kenneday was signed and everyone was making lines, none of them included Kenneday as he wasn't signed yet. And most people agreed that the lines without Kennedy could make the playoffs. Now we have added a solid defenceman to that roster. A defensive defenceman who has been playing in an up tempo system the last couple of years. I can really see Morrison playing well here.

EH, the problem is the bigger picture. They are clinging so tight to a self-imposed cap that they're willing to buyout a young player with potential and PR value over a measley f-ing 700k at the most (depending on how you look at the scenario), while having SIX MILLION IN CAP ROOM. In fact, they will be spending LESS than the last few seasons while the best contenders will spend MORE.

What possible hope does that show for the rest of this season?

BTW, this is my cue to take a hiatus as a hard core fan, and therefore my level of attention to this fan site. Sorry fellas...well actually a few of you guys won't mind at all...lol. I'll probably be back around Oct/Nov.
