1700 words of story and notes. little more sure now. Not sure if it's going to approach novel length though, but we'll see.

If I die an alcohol related death, everyone is singing Moxy Früvous' Drinking Song at my funeral.

Agreed. When I get my own place, I'm getting rats because of their more individual personalities. I can't have them now because anything other than fish isn't allowed at school (every one of my roommates this next year is disgusted by the idea, anyway), and at home there is no way my mother would allow rats.

Anyone know a website where I can download text books? I really don't want to spend $500 on them this fall.

None of my friends in the area are going to the same college as me, so I don't think I can pull that this year. I'll keep in mind, though.

Every time my one friend gets me to say "I love you, too" (this happens like once every couple months, and she doesn't actually try; I just say it in response when she tells me she loves me) I feel soooooo icky because it's just not who I am to say that to anything/one that is not an animal or a baby (and any family I have in the future, because I think it's ridiculously important to say that to them all the time so that they know, especially children and younger adolescents due to how they think). lol. I say it because it's the truth and because I know it means a lot to her, but it feels disingenuous all the same. Why does it have to be that gross if it's the truth.

Also "icky" is the only appropriate word to describe that feeling.

The last hour I haven't had any peripheral vision and have a random blind spot in the same place in both of my eyes as well so I've been watching TV since that's all I can do. I'm annoyed enough to have gotten here to complain though lol. I can barely read. It's possible but really difficult. The last time this happened I was cramming for a chem exam freshman year, and suddenly I could not read. That was quite rude. According to schedule this should next happen in February 2012.

And the band played on, as the helicopters whirred. Drunk on the lawn in a nuclear dawn, my senses finally blurred...

On an unrelated note, I had a great time tonight. I was doing full orders all by myself halfway through the night. No nigiri or sashimi yet, just rolls so far. Tuesday is gonna be a real test cuz it's Endless Sushi Tuesday and head chef is out of town for the week...it'll just be me and the much more accomplished assistant running things. I'm more excited than anything else.

Getting an old version can be varying levels of successful since a lot of the stuff carries over, though if you're assigned questions out of the book, that strategy will leave you fucked unless you make friends and work with someone.

Getting taht shampoo in my eye is probably the worst pain I've felt and literally makes me want to be dead for ten seconds before i can flush it out.

All women's clothing seems to be made for short women with no boobs or hips. (Fun fact: I am a plus size sometimes because of this fact. WHAT ON EARTH I AM SKINNY. People always comment on it. I wonder how many size 12's out there don't like saying their size because they don't like it, but in reality they look just fine.) Trying on shirts is ridiculous. Other stuff usually fits fine if I can get it to my waist; it's just really hard to get it there. If tunic shirts weren't in style, I'd be sunk. That's pretty much all I even try on, and forget finding jeans that are long enough on the clearance rack. I have two pairs that are going to wear out really soon (including my favorite pair... there are few things better than having a favorite pair of jeans; I wear them all the time), and I don't have that many in general so I need to buy a new pair, but arg so annoying. Why can't women's clothes sizes be like men's with the measurements. That would make things unbelievably easier. I've been known to pick up things from the men's department anyway.

I don't know where you're shopping that you're not finding clothes for girls with boobs or hips. I can never find anything that fits and I don't have boobs or hips.
