he basically said that your city is ugly, and he wants to cover it with confetti so ease the suffering of his eye. lol
Buffalonians are aware that it isn't the most beautiful place in the world, my friend.
What gets them irritated, is when they're judged by that exterior without anyone taking notice of what a wonderful community they are.
TV gets that.
I see, I only passed through Buffalo for a flight, and it was at night so I've never really seen the skyline or anything.
I suppose I coule brave the internet for some photos, but I'm actually scared of what I may see. Afterall, you guys are only ranked the 10th most livable city in America.

im assuming that you havent been in hazelwood lately then if you are so quick to judge
also, ive passed through the city of buffalo and the rest of Erie county a decent amount, and just something about it is calling me and attracting me to the city, and is calling me home
Take it up with Vanek, not a single pro athlete has ever called Pittsburgh anything unflattering in an interview.
i was talking more about what you were saying in the pink
Oh that...I was just kidding. Vanek was just trying to be polite, it's all in the eye of the beholder.
Having said that, if you paid me even 300k/year to play hockey there I would blow the city. I don't mean the people, I mean that I would actually blow the entire city. Fire hydrants, shopping carts, the city....
