At the bottom of the list? The Sabres, meanwhile, play the most back-to-back games in the NHL with 22, one ahead of the Carolina Hurricanes (21).

Well, now we know the whereabouts of 11 of Lalimes starts. Lets just hope he plays the entire games.

If Ruff is as good a coach as I think he is, most of those starts will come in the first game of the back to backs, so Miller can steal the games when the team is dead tired.

You just haven't been a Sabres fan long enough dude.... that's not Lindy's modus operandi.

Sabres 4-5-3 on Saturdays in 09-10 in back to backs.

5-8-3 on the second game of back to back games.

Yikes, so we're a combined 9-13-6 when it comes to back to back games. Not fantastic.

No the second was inclusive of the first. The second is the overall record.

So the second record ISNT just in the second game of back to backs? So...we only had 8 back to backs last year, and now..what, 22 this year? Seems like quite a jump.

No, the second record IS just the second game of back to backs. They were 5-8-3, which makes for 16 back to backs. Of those 16, it looks like the second game was on a Saturday 12 times, furthermore Buffalo had 4 of their 5 wins in the second game of a back to back on Saturday, so bring on Friday/Saturday back to backs I guess.

We're gonna hear about an over-played Miller again, and there's a good chance we're gonna be calling for Lalime's head again, too. If 8 btb games seemed like a lot last year, then 22 is gonna be an eternity. I swear to god this team is gonna put me on a serious drinking binge this/next year.

My dreams of a better back-up are also washed up now. Sounds like we're over budget now for sure. If I get only one wish, it's that either Lalime plays well, or the team plays well around him.

We had 16 last year and 22 this year.

Miller is going to start 65+ games no matter who the backup is, the backup could be Droduer and Miller would still start almost 70 games, Miller is the starter, why should he play less then 65 games. Lalime will maybe get 15, but then again, that is more then 1 every ten games.

Miller should be fine this year with playing even more games then last year since the schedule isn't condensed for the Olympics also.

My bad, I thought someone said 8. Anyway, I was just saying people are going to be crying about a tired Miller probably even more. I, myself, think he's veteran enough now to handle whatever he gets.
