I would hope both sides can agree at some point to respect our two very different ideas about what we want in a message board rather than make this a personal battle. Yes, most folks like to post at big sites that are wide open to the public, but others prefer to be able to comment in intimate privacy to a secure, trusted group of friends. Different strokes, and the world is certainly big enough for both approaches to co-exist without animosity.
You didn't hide the Drunkie forums because you valued your privacy; you closed them because all the shit that was being talked about Junkie members came out, and you realized non-members could read EVERYTHING THAT WAS BEING SAID. You liked it when you could post here and still have the 'respect' from those folks that looked up to the old guard, and could then go back to your not-so secret forums and mother fuck them. You wanted to have your cake and eat it too, Well, as they say, the Emperor has no clothes, and you were butt fucking naked my friend.
Some people here still hold a grudge. There's nothing anyone can do about it. But come on. The Drunkie was chock full of posts mother fucking SJ members, yet when someone here makes a reference the other way you get all butthurt about it?
