Ok, so, if Ennis ends up in the top 6, he has a real possibility at the Calder this season based on the talent he will be playing with.

Hall and the others I don't see as much of a threat given the young and inexperienced talent they have around them.

Odds on favorite in your minds and what are your thoughts on Ennis with Vanek and Roy, or Connolly and Pomminville.

That would be cool, having two Sabres be the Calder winners 2 years in a row. But, I really don't think it will happen. Ennis will get off to a great start but how long will he go on that streak? I just don't see it happening, but hey, who knows, anything can happen

I'd love it. Keep Hecht with C and P and put Ennis with R and V.

The Rev line, haha.

Put Stafford on the third line. Get's him going, and it adds a little bit more of a scoring touch to that line.

If he keeps the pace from last year he will win it. It probably won't happen, but we can hope, right? Is that so wrong?

I hope he can develop into a goalscorer, the likes of whom we desperately need. He looks like a Briere type player, though. A bit of a scoring touch but an assist getter.

Except Ennis was good in the playoffs.

For all the crap that we give Jumbo Joe, he wasn't that bad in this year's playoffs.

He wasn't good enough, obviously. Pavelski dominated.

He did better than some of our forwards, and that is the ultimate insult.

What about the last 6 straight times he was in the playoffs?

Love being back on SJ, and love the conversation. But, can we stay on topic folks.
Given the Rookie class, given who they may be playing with and looking at who Ennis may be playing with, the Calder may be a reality if the circumstances are correct. No?
