if Huet had been sent to Rockford (AHL) would people still be calling it circumvention?

Except Rockford wouldn't have been paying him.

When the NHL club sends a player to the AHL, the NHL team pays the salary. The AHL team only pays for the players that they've signed and that the parent club has no rights to.

Salary and cap are two way different things.

?They should make it be salary per year is how they do the cap.
