As you can see the main page at http://sabresjunkie.com is lame and was thrown together by me in about 15 minutes of fiddling.
Think you can do a better job?
Let me see it.

The only necessary components are the 2 links...one to here and one to the chat.
Right now that page is straight html, but you can use css, php, python or (god forbid) flash if you want.

If we get a few submissions we can all vote on the winner.

Come on creative people...it won't be hard to show me up.

To your credit, XC, or to my easy-to-pleasedness, I never noticed that the lame main page was lame. (I like the simplicity, and the gargantuan bubble/balloon link thingys are kinda fun.)

But, whatever. Tinker on.

The only open source web development tool I've used is Eclipse, but that's more for application development...java, AJAX etc.
