Probably. And I don't blame him, he was upset and there was 4 french referees... in Montréal. Who wouldn't be pissed It kinda became a big story in Qc and I don't exactly remember what the referee said Doan said, but that was pretty much racist. I was a little surprised Doan said that, he seemed like a gentleman to me. Anyway, Coderre is an idiot, I had all forgotten about it before today. It isn't such a big deal.

That whole thing was stupid lol. I don't believe he said it; this is a guy that substitutes words rather than swear. Everybody who's played with him attests to that and I remember at the time that when interviewed people who had done so were pretty confused that he was being accused of saying that. The whole league defended him, pretty much, but, well, you know.
