One time my mom had the green power ranger come to my birthday party and I got scared and cried and ran upstairs. He made balloon swords for us and taught us sick moves. I still have the home video and pictures of it.

i remember when it was still considered lame to admit you liked the power rangers. in fact, i remember wearing a power rangers t-shirt under a long sleeve shirt while making fun of them with my peers. i'm pretty sure everyone liked them deep down. how could you not? it was an after school program that you could watch as you were eating dunkaroos and drinking tang.

Haha I don't remember being made fun of for Power Rangers. I remember my brother was a Putty for Halloween one year. I do remember people never admitted to liking Barney... I remember I just wanted to be like, "Come on guys, we're in preschool...we're SUPPOSED to like Barney!!" Ah, youth.

it's something i thought everyone could relate to. it's also like days in summer camp when your parents would pack you ghostbusters ecto-cooler fruit drink and street shark fruit snacks... if you were one of the cool kids.

Did you know that during the fight scenes, mostly all of the stunts were done by stunt guys (the women rangers were guys with plastic boobs).

My brothers, cousins, and the neighbor kids and I used to play Power Rangers pretty frequently. It wasn't nearly as often as Star Wars or anything, but it was still probably every day... We were a bunch of homeschooled kids that had every day after 10:00 or 11:00 in the morning free to play and explore until 9:00 or 10:00 in the evening.

One time when my brother and I were playing Power Rangers, he doubled over crying because I tapped him on the head with my hand. At first I got in trouble because my parents thought I had hit him maliciously, but it turned out he had a tick that had been there for, um, a while. It was huge.

I was always the red Ranger. Forget being a girl. In Star Wars I was never Princess Leia, either, though now I think she was pretty badass.

Childhood was pretty awesome in that regard.

I remember when I was in middle school, it was a fad (for like three months) to have a Power Ranger Pencil topper. I had a Blue one!
