4chan is, to put it lightly, VERY FUCKING NOT SAFE FOR WORK. Don't ever, ever, EVER check it out from your desk.

Now that that's out of the way, it's an imageboard site. People post pictures, and then other people comment on them. There's lots of nudity and one board is almost all porn links it seems, but you'll also find some of the absolute funniest stuff on the web on 4chan. You'll also see some of the best wallpaper graphics the web has to offer, as well as rousing music and sports discussions. But mostly, people go there to troll on /b/.

Tread wisely, and browse at your own risk.

4chan is a series of image message boards where you can post anonymously, ranging from random discussion (/b/), to porn (half the boards on the site), video games (/v/), sports (/sp/), music (/mu/), Pokemon (/vp/), fashion (/fa/), and almost anything you want. Half the boards are shit in terms of the people posting, and many are known for over the top racism and antisemitism such as /new/.

I browse some of the boards and post on two or three of them. There's good discussions and some genuinely funny things sometimes, but the website is shit most of the time.
