the orange tree goes outside during days from april to october, and stays out full time from may-september. if it dips below 55, it comes inside. it stays inside all winter, obviously. michigan winters suck. the problem with orange trees is they dont take re-potting well. you cant take an orange tree and move it to a huge pot. itll die within a few days. so when i repot the orange tree, i have to get a pot thats maybe a half inch to an inch larger, every time. any bigger, and itll die.

the peach tree. well, peach trees arnt meant for michigan climates, but they can and do survive. so, if you wanted a peach tree, go on out, and get one. plant it now. itll survive.

There's nothing to tell, really, just that someone decided to name her daughter after me.

theres a pair of teenage girls two doors down who are constantly in trouble with the law, having parties, smoking pot outside, screaming at night... well, recently, theyve taken to pounding on our neighbours windows at 2 or 3 am. well, the pounding scared the neighbours shitzu so badly, it wouldnt go outside. it LOVES the outside. well, it would just hide under the bed and wouldnt come out.

the dog had terminal cancer, so they decided that between that and the dog being scared all the time due to these idiots, they had to put him down.

its sad, i loved that dog. he was such a cute pooch and so nice.

No, his show is Wheel of Fortune. Alex Trebek is the host of Jeopardy.

No, his show is Wheel of Fortune. Alex Trebek is the host of Jeopardy.

The Sajak schooled. He finished double jeopardy with $32,000

Every time I attend a mandatory dorm or hall meeting (which is once or twice a semester), I wish desperately that I lived in a co-ed dorm. Large groups of only girls make me feel awkward lol.

Also having an apartment is nice because it means I can have spaghetti and ORANGE JUICE (BEST EVER) at 10:30 at night because I have a stove to cook spaghetti and a full-size fridge that can hold orange juice. :D

And also I get to spy on people for homework for one of my classes, which is a class on how to research, which is something that I already pretty much tutor random people for every semester when they're stuck and can't find good sources for papers. I honestly don't know how that is possible

BLASPHEMY

That's hilarious that he was on there. I wonder if he had to go through the testing to get on like every other contestant. If he won $32,000, I would assume he did.

Why am I only now learning about Kanzi and Panbanisha the bonobo apes? I knew about Koko a long time ago, but these two are even more incredible.

I was going to go to bed, but now I'll be up another hour scouring the internet for articles and videos on them. :D

I think that starting Monday morning I'm going to be starting on a 6 week program to try and drop 15-20 pounds. I'm 5'11 194 right now. If I dropped to 180 I'd be really happy, if I got to 175 I'd be totally CUT!!!!

Last March I was about 225 and got down to 195 by May last year, maintained all summer, so think I can drop 15ish more pounds pretty easily in 6 weeks.

I am convinced I'm never going to be CUT at 195 again. Not that I'm overly fat now, but I am still fat, and don't like it. I used to hit the gym 6 days a week in high school, and was very athletically active (played 4 sports, lifting, gym every day, ect) I just don't have the drive or desire to get back to that kind of life style. Plus I no longer have access to the "supplements" I was using back then.

But starting Monday my goal will be to drop 15 pounds in 6 weeks. (Roughly 2.5 pounds per week) I may be making a thread to keep it going, I like to write about that kind of stuff, but can't bring myself to Blog, lol.

Good luck man! Well actually, luck has nothing to do with it. I was 235 about 2 months ago and now I'm 221. I'm 6'3", so I want to get down to 199. That will put me in the green on the national BMI chart, but more importantly take so much stress off of my joints. I do very basic strength training on my bowflex, with the help of my iflex app. I ride my bicycle 60-100 miles a week, and just watch what I eat. About 2 years ago I was 200 and I felt healthier and happier everyday. It's really worth it.

EDIT: Oh and it never stops. I'm not suggesting that you're naive, but maintaining your weight is a lifetime job. There's no license to binge. I messed up my leg and hip and I kind of used that as an excuse to give up, because of the pain. But the added weight didn't help the pain, not at all.

Thanks dude, yeah I have dropped quite a bit of weight over the past 13 months, was upwards toward 295, so I've lost nearly 100 pounds, but just not satisfied with that. My goal used to be 195, now that I'm there, wanna shoot for something a lot less.

I dont follow the BMI chart, because according to that, my ideal weight would put me at >7% body fat. I've got a huge frame, and high bone density. I've checked it all out with a professional. He said if I were to get to 180 I'd be in the "exceptionally lean" area. As of right now I'm in the "normal" area, but just wanna lose the buddah belly I got, and a little bit of my ass. Other than that, I'm pretty leaned out.

I hear ya on the no license to binge thing. I go out and have a few beers, and maybe some wings once in a while, but thats about the extent of it. Other than that, it's chicken, pasta, rice, and veggies all day with me. Not that I mind it, because I do love me some chicken.

That would be AWESOME and not entirely inaccurate when applied to myself.

I do that while at school, too. For one thing, the spinach they have in the salad bar is almost always the most, or only, delicious thing in the cafeteria. I rarely snack at home, but I mostly just eat cereal and eggs. It's not the most balanced diet in the world...

OMG you lost a lot of weight, that's incredible! You don't need no lectures from me. lol And yeah I love me some chicken, I just ate Chipotle: burrito, pinto beans, rice, lettuce, cheese, and double the chicken. Squirt some lemon juice on that motha' to bring out the flava and oh yea!
