Yea i know that, what i'm saying that is that it wasn't.. i remember having to do it several times in 08 and in 09, i never had 10 so idk about that game but in 08 and 09 i had to do it whenever i changed games and then went back to NHL... but if i kept the game in there the code would stay.. just wondering if anyone else had that issue

So, a guy on HF Boards claiming to be Dave and Adam's purchasing dude says the leaked screengrab is absolutely fake and the piping isn't even blue on the away jersey. He also said the belly stripes are wrong.

Likes: The hitting is pretty cool, but there are some things I don't like.
Holding A while you skate is a pretty good move. I can go past the defenders safely with the puck.

Dislikes: The passing is horrible. It goes slow and is horribly inaccurate.
It's hard to get a hit on the computer, let alone knock him down.
Why is a defender skating backwards faster than a forward skating forward?
The players are turtles. I turned the game speed and player acceleration up. Why do they move so slow?
Half of my guy's arm and his whole stick goes through the guy's body, but the puck stays there and it's the only thing that never touched him.
Why does it seem like Mason is better than Miller but in the overalls he's not? My goalie sucks!
Why does my guy lose the puck after he gets hit oh so softly? A 4 year old can take that hit and keep the puck

did you know that for passing now you have to hold the button? when you let go of the button is when the pass is made.. the longer you hold the button the harder the pass.. i like it better actually you can tap the pass button and basically push it to someone close to you or hold it and zing it up the ice.

the goaltending in this game is atrocious. this game is a severe downgrade in playability.

I'm enjoying the Be A Pro mode better than the 09,10 versions. But I agree that the gameplay itself seems to be a step down..

Goaltending atrocious as they all are super good no matter what or they let in everything?

I noticed your user controlled team the goalie practically sucks in NHL games, just because you typically limit the amount of shots they can take, so he lets in 2 or three goals on like 10 shots, yet you take 30-40 and still somehow lose sometimes.

They reduced the game speed so you can pull off the dekes a bit better. I found NHL 10/09/08 was too slow also and I always turn the game speed up because I hate how slow they make the games.

Who knows when I'll get this game though. I'm glad the reduced the effectiveness of the poke checks though, those were super annoying on a breakaway and they easily poke the puck away from you.

Oh, yea, I hate how the CPU can always get the perfect shot away and play keep away from you so easily.

ive played a little more. you really do have to focus on defense more. if you go for the booming check and miss, theres a good chance theyll score.
