I win. Although this is on a weekend evening, when internet traffic is lower...it drops usually to 10-15 during weekday afternoons, and sometimes barely works at all. But when it works, it works nice.


My coworker actually posted a snapshot of his speed on facebook, with a DS clocked at 80, and this is just Comcast Blast, we are putting out 100 Mbs for businesses right now.

But dude, your upload is retarded! That's the fastest upload I've ever seen. lol


Yeah, they don't throttle or limit anything here. So the upload speed is really nice. I can get a gig of video uploaded in a minute or so here, whereas at home it takes around an hour. But the speed is very dynamic - the more people that use it, the slower it gets.

For example, it's now 1:43 on Sunday morning - not a high traffic time. Getting wicked speeds in both directions. But Monday at 2 p.m, I'll be lucky to be pulling 15 mbps down. Although that's nothing to complain about. Only time I can really complain is when the network crashes or slows to a crawl - which is more often than it should.
