I absolutely LOVE that jersey! And the fact that they went with the striping on the pants! We'll get our first look at them in game action at the home opener on the 9th against the Rangers. Looks like I won't have to bring a jersey with me on this trip. I know what I'll be wearing at that game . That is, as long as they are still available at that time, of course. Also, I was a little worried how the white ones looked from the pics, but after seeing them on the ice, they look frickin awesome!

This is shaping up to be a pretty expensive trip to HSBC Arena, but I ain’t complaining!

Yes, I just looked it up. It seems utterly impossible he's the longest tenured. He's only a few months older than me. Vetern players are my age. I'm getting old....

The more I see of these sweaters, the more I’m digging the idea of going with them fulltime as our 3rds. Man, they HAVE to stick with them! And the same for the road/whites! I agree with ya, XC, the name/numbers on them 3rds are pretty damn sexay!!! They actually got it right in the design department!

Side note, in the sabers.com gallery, Vanek in that 3rd sweater looks like he means business. Kind of looks like he's going to eat someone! lol. Hopefully he comes out of the gate like a man on a mission this season, as well as the rest of the team, for that matter!

One thing I don't like that the 3rd jersey makes very obvious....our home jerseys are way to stinking dark.
I would rather they were the same bright blue of the 3rd jersey, just like old times.

I really like the home white jersey. Not a real big fan of the royal blue 3rd jersey. It has nothing to do with the colors but more about something else and this is my reasoning. I hate when teams spell out the name of the city on any jersey. I think it's lame as I believe each team should have a logo as the main crest. But that's just me.

I love the picture of Steve Montador skating out to center ice. He looks like he means business.
