Also FWIW, Mike Harrington from TBN said tonight that Regier denies that they have reopened negotiations with Kassian. Darcy said they were interested in doing so, but have not done it yet.

B&Y it was a questionable hit but due to the timing of the hit(media wise) it was blown out of proportion. A bar fight is a bar fight. We're not saying we condone this but when we drafted the kid to be a power forward these are things that aren't that big of a deal. Players pissing on other players and locking each other naked in bathrooms is way worse than anything Kassian has done.(Those were hazing incidents I was referrning too)

Okay, this isn't blown out of proportion, and it's not questionable. It's wrong. I'm not giving up on him completely, I'm just saying.

That wasn't a questionable hit. It was a disgusting, dirty hit. The timing of the hit had nothing to do with it. it was certainly a big deal.

Totally blown out of proportion. It's more charging than a hit to the head. I've seen the hit thousands of times from multiple angles. When you look at the sitaution and everything his hit and his intentions of the hit are nothing bad imo. Suspendable and definitely not clean but 10 maybe even 5 years ago we wouldn't have looked twice at this.

Charging? Seriously? HE JUMPED AT MATT KENNEDY'S FACE WITH AN ELBOW.

That would have been a suspendable offense 5 or 10 years ago. I've been watching hockey since the late 80s. I cannot think of any time that such a play would be considered routine or normal. I don't care what the situation was, or what his intentions were. YOU DON'T DO THAT. It's an intent to injure, period.

Besides, who gives a shit about what MIGHT have happened 10 years ago? The game has evolved. People are realizing that predatory headshots are BAD and leagues are doing something about it. He deserved more of a suspension than what he got to be honest.

The fact that you think this hit was blown out of proportion by the media is downright offensive to me.

There is zero fact in claiming he just hit some guy for looking at him, and until there is a police report or a witness saying this, its all bogus rumor whoreing. I hate it when people do this.


I also heard Derek Roy likes cock and that Tim Connolly has herpes....gotta be true right? Cause thats what I heard. Who the fuck knows, not me, thats for damn sure so I don't just go around saying this to people like I know it to be fact. It just some dumb shit, stupid statement I've heard people put "Well, I heard that...." before.
