Ah, you can take Barney out of Buffalo, but you can't take Buffalo out of Barney. The guy still loves that place, and I can see why. Seems to be that way for a lot of guys who left Sabre-Land, too.

I'm going to toss this out there because I really need to know.

If McGuire is such a knowledgeable and sound hockey person, then why in the name of sweet jesus christ isn't he still coaching in the NHL?

Because the players all felt very awkward when he walked into the locker room and they were changing. His eyes always lit right up.
