Woz, first of all it's good to know that there are fellow Cub haters out there. I despise that team and the fools who root for them. They represent all that is wrong in this country - mediocrity, incompetence, blind hope/self-deception, crumbling infra-structure (Wrigley Field is deteriorating), complete and continuous failure, etc. I mean for fuck's sake, these losers were afraid to play in the dark until MLB forced them to!

Here are some reasons I hate the Yankees:
1) successful past
2) MLB is not a level playing field and the Yanks have access to more $ and players
3) my dad hates the Yankees
4) I'm an Orioles fan
I gotta tell you though. Watching games in Yankee Stadium was a blast, at least back in 80's. Way more entertainment in the stands than on the field!

A few other teams I hate and why:
** all Philly teams - people from that area should die and come back re-incarnated as porta-potties.
** I hate all 4 teams in the NFC East, because I'm a Redskins fan. Yes, I am including the Redskins as a team I hate right now! Please die, Mr. Snyder!
**** But the mother of all hated teams for me is dook basketball. No other hate even comes close! Coach krezewski is the biggest arrogant asswipe in NCAA sports, and dook fans are raving idiots. Next time you watch a dook game, watch the cameron crazies. They are all sheep. There isn't a single individual among them. I swear dook basketball is like some sort of cult/crackpot religion. Also, I went to UNC, and that definitely fuels the hatred.
