I'm on scotch already. Got company coming all day, and feel the need for a pre-buzz preparation is upon me.

I'll be taking in the fantastic game-day deals at The Aud bar and grill later...$10 for a pitcher of blue and a pound of wings. Cheers!

Is Whisky good with Sprite?

I'd say not. Whiskey is best left alone, or sparsely mixed with cola.

Inasmuch as we all mix liquor with carbonated drinks, fruit juice is always preferable; the refined sugars in bottled soft-drinks contribute greatly to dehydration, and that results in the dreaded "hangover".

Top-shelf liquors are best served "neat" (no ice) - One does not pay a premium amount, only to disguise the subtleties of a complex flavor, with sugar-water.

What's this "wings or BBQ" bullcrap?

Wings and BBQ thank you very much.

I'll be making wings later on. A friend I went to High school with and who now lives in Hollywood is coming over for the game.
I've got a few other friends coming over including the Son of Ken Norton (the boxer) and brother of Ken Norton Jr. (yeah...the same Ken Norton Jr. that took Jim Kelly out of Super Bowl XXVII). He never forgets to tease me about that shit.

I've got a case of Molson, 5 gallons of IPA and about 3 gallons of Imperial porter.
Too bad it's still 9am here. I'm thirsty.

My bad. I thought it would spur the Buffalo-Nashville rivalry...

I should know by now that one's belly has no allegiances.

Although I agree on mixing liquor with fruit juice...aka Quervo and orange juice, Chevas goes great with a spot of soda in the mix.

In fact, I'm in for a Chevas and soda now....Tommy? set one up...one for yourself and a round for the house!

We have a rivalry with Nashville? Fuck that, I could care less about those rednecks. Time for a Cutty and water with a beer back.
