to be honest, i have no idea. i did it maybe a year and a half, almost two years ago. it was around the time i stopped stretching my ears too. last year i started to miss it so bad that i repierced it myself with a 16 gauge earring and tried to just stretch it back to a 14.. didn't work and i just kinda gave up/forgot about it.

That sucks. All my piercings I've lost grew out (eyebrow, tongue, lip), and those I have left are behaving just fine. I figure I'll stop stretching my ears at 1" but I don't ever see myself taking them out. Nose ring, though, I dunno.
