Honestly, our team isn't as bad as some may think, we are close. First step is making the playoffs, and had injuries not happened, who knows where they would have went?

You bring in some veterans to help secure things, Niedermayer is a key one, and bring up rookies ready to explode, Ennis, and maybe Gerbe to also fill in some needs.

And make your defense younger and a bit better, Morrisonn and Leopold, in an effort to try and win. I agree we should spend to the cap every year, that 4.8 million or whatever we have could have picked up a nice RW for Vanek and Roy, or they are saving it for next year when Stafford is gone and are going to sign a 6 million dollar RW?

I don't know. I honestly think a nice long playoff run could do wonders for this team, stay healthy in the playoffs, and a hot Miller, anything is possible. Well we first need a powerplay though.

We need some finishers. Roy, Connolly, and Ennis are all playmakers. We have Vanek only as a finisher and he's more of a body in front of the net or a sniper. One or two finishers with decent talent is ALL we need. Maybe a defensive defensemen. Weber replacing Sekera is fine.

I want to go to a Sabres game on the road. Last year I saw them play a preseason game in Toronto which was a lot of fun. If I were to see them on the road it would probably be Boston or Pittsburgh, because I know a few people who go to Havahd and my best friend went to school in Pittsburgh, so I would have other reasons to visit.

I would love to see them in Chicago though... I love that city so much. My good friend lives in Cleveland, so I might see them play in Columbus for their final game of the season.

I wouldn't mind going to Rexall, Pengrowth, The United Center, The Bell Centre, TD Banknorth Garden, The New Mellon Dump, and The RBC Center (just to be a dick).

I've seen plenty of people here say there is a rivalry with them and I've always disagreed with that.

There's no rivalry at all, there's just a rift between the fans because of the behavior of Sabres fans during the 06 playoffs.

Yeah I hate Carolina, but I don't feel like it's a big rivalry. Cardiac Cane, when he's not busy not knowing how to format his blog so it's actually readable, posted that Buffalo isn't the Canes biggest rival (like that's some kind of insult) and I agree.

Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, and Philly are bigger rivals to Buffalo than Carolina.

I agree with both of you guys, I mean they knocked us out of the playoffs once, to me that's not quite a rivalry yet.

Ottawa I hate far more then Carolina, for obvious reasons.
