This is the only game that should honestly be thrown out, because the night before, the roads were solid ice.
Yeah, not quite correct since the one Rangers game I referenced was when NY/NJ was buried under 3+ feet of snow. So if you're going to whine about the Carolina F-sticks, then you have to whine about the Rags/Devils.
In other words, your homer is showing.
Alex, no you're plain wrong.
What snow removal equipment does North Carolina have? New York can handle 3+ feet of snow, North Carolina gets 4 inches and everything shuts down and we have to wait for it to melt.
What do you have to say then? That's not an excuse for a Northern Market, they deal with snow way more then here. We get on average maybe one snowfall a year, and if it sticks, we're fucked for a few days.
I'm telling you how it is.
Uh not everywhere in NYS is equipped to handle three feet of snow. Probably only Buffalo and Oswego. The NYC storm knocked out power for thousands of people and set daily and monthly records. Don't compare that to southern residents being unable to deal with a half inch of snow.
Well when the roads are ice, and there is nothing a southern state can do to stop that ice, how the fuck do you expect people to go to a fucking hockey game then?
I know snow, I lived in it for most of my life. But when the roads are THICK ICE, you're not going out.
Come down here when we have a few inches of ice, and see how terrible the roads are, I went skating on the damn roads that night because the ice was so thick. Cars down here don't have snow tires, and don't need them because it hardly snows.
I know you hate the Canes and everything about the team, but you're being a moron with that game. Conditions were terrible, why would people risk their lives on a road you can't see the lines to go watch hockey, especially when those people probably have never driven in snow before.
And here it's more ice then snow anyways, and I don't care where you're from, if you're on ice, unless you have steel tracks with spikes, your car will slide around.
My whole point was that you show bias in only mentioning the Carolina game.
Both games had winter conditions that the municipality was ill equipped to deal with. Thus if you're going to comment that one should be stricken, you have to mention the other, otherwise you're just a homer. There are winter conditions in which New Yorkers are just as helpless as southerners. Just because NY gets more snow doesn't mean that every municipality can deal with any amount. I reiterate that the NY storm was a record snowstorm.

You're the one that decided to be a dick and take a shot at my supposed northern bias, and I responded. Next time you might not want to do it in a thread that involves two northern markets that I ridicule every chance I get anyways.
