Also, I have never really liked the "text" jerseys, meaning just the name of the team printed on the front. Ducks, Rangers, Caps, for example (although I do like the look of the Caps jersey, go figure). I always thought it was funny the Leafs jersey had to explain that it's the "Toronto Maple Leafs". Are they worried someone will mistake it for a fig leaf?

I've always thought the red Blackhawks jersey was dramatically inferior to the white version.

While I rarely think the white jerseys are ever better than the bright and colorful (currently) home jerseys, the white are really the only ones you can wear as a fan and not look like a maniac standout in everday settings.

I'm of the opposite mindset (about which is better - i agree about wearing the white ones in public lol)...the white jerseys, I think, are superior in that the designs are often the same but the colorway is better suited to relegating bright, possibly-overpowering colors to an accent role, giving the jerseys an improved look.
