I think that shot was better than you're giving it credit for, although Miller was down too early on it.
Defenders can't let him walk in like that with 30 seconds left.
I dunno, I'm just apathetic at this point. They're broken. They look like shit. Miller looks like a shell of a goaltender compared to the last 4 years.
I won't profess to know what they could even do.
Mmmmmm...........agreed, the loss of Tallinder and Lydman definitelty up-ended the defense on this team.
But then, If you review my posts from last season, I, and some others, were already stating that if they went with youth on D to move on to the next generation, this season was up in the air. We now know what we have.
Squanto, knowing that its going to take a season or 2 to get this young D to gel (and with Rivet leaving, Its going to solidify a Sekera or Weber in that spot), do you agree it would be a wise and prudent decision to move atleast some of the core to bring in a young, talented superstar to anchor the forwards? A Bobby Ryan type (and that doesn't mean Ryan himself) that has a season or 2 under them with success and brings that mind set to Buffalo?
Wouldn't it be nice if Regier started it.
thats all well and good but who? who would be out there? who is going to give up a young up and coming superstar... and how much of the core and mortgaging of the future would you have to do to make that happen? i just dont see any superstar types that would be out there... that wouldn't cost us considerable talent on the current team (NHL & AHL) and future picks...
I agree they need to do something... but superstars dont grow on trees... and they are going to cost you a ton...
