Calgary had the dreaded, most dangerous lead in hockey, 2-0 in the 1st.
Caps made it 2-1 by intermission........then scored six in the 2nd. SIX

Flames fans: Talk about having that sinking feeling as the game progresses.

I believe the Caps may be awakening once again.

If they only had solid goaltending, they'd be quite an incredible juggernaut.

You mean a high-powered offense full of skilled young stars preyed upon an organization in turmoil with an aging and declining goaltender? Holy shit I've never heard of such a thing!

Calgary isn't THAT bad...and, even still, SIX in a period is a lot.

that was amazing period. Ovie had two goals within second of each other. They have an amazing offense but I agree, they need better goal tending. I really thought Varli would be their #1 but he has played well (when he wasn't injured) at all this season. Both of their goalies are like in their early 20's

It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

They really are. And we don't see it, but in the Calgary media there is a lot of in-fighting and he said/she said going on right now between Iggy and the Sutters. Plus you've got Kipper who's been on the decline for years.

And WSH didn't really score 6 - they scored 5 and got the benefit of a Cory Sarich own goal. The more you know.

Calgary is fucking brutal. The only team they have looked not bad against is Edmonton.

Only FIVE in the period?

Okay.

Washington's goaltending will only get better, Varly and N(IDK the rest) are both like 21 or 22.
