They will probably be like the Cane's were last year. Suck so horribly to start the season that they cannot recover, then play well after mid-season, be one of the better teams. But still fall well short. :(

Ownership will see this better play as a reason to keep the core intact, because they have to play better this year because they played well at the end of last year right? Wrong. :(

I just want the City of Buffalo to win a championship. I prefer the Sabres over the Bills. But I'd take either right now. They both look so far off.

I know that this won't go over well but I'll say it anyway. I would love these guys to turn themselves around and win the division, but I just don't see it happening. That being said, I have been more and more frustrated each season and we all scream for trades and management shifts that never come. Things don't change in the Buffalo time warp. If we tanked, and I mean royaly fucking tanked the entire season, something would have to change. So part of me hopes that they just continue to suck. I know it will suck and I'll be tempted to throw a beer bottle through my tv but fuck it, they may actually DO something about this team if they get that bad.

I look at it this way. If they don't make the playoffs, then keep sucking so bad we get a top 3 pick. This team needs a freaking star besides Miller. One that can put the damn puck in the net.
