Lindy said that his injury isn't his groin...so what is it? Maybe his back?

Miller back at Practice, Status for Wednesday Unknown

Who knows? The only injuries I can think of is when he broke his thumb during his rookie season and when he sprained his ankle two seasons ago. So I would say no.

Just, you know, raising the same questions that get raised with other players who have suffered injury due to bizzare circumstances :P

Is a lower back injury considered a lower body injury?

Maybe his hips...

Miller returned to practice on a limited basis Tuesday after missing Monday's workout. He was often stretching his legs during breaks.

I wonder if while being landed on, he might have tweaked a muscle in the knee area. I did that once in a pile up playing football and it hurt like a bitch for three days before being fine.

From bad to worse. I hope we don't see too much of Enroth in the near future.

Just because he's recalled doesn't mean he's starting...

What do we have to lose starting Enroth?

Also, I think Leggio may have been the smarter call-up. Kid is on fire right now.

Yes, but could he start as a way of getting him some NHL time before sending him back when Miller returns? That's what I was getting at.

Miller bummed around LA, banged his super hot girlfriend, and didn't start training until half way through August.

And you know what? I really don't blame him one tiny bit.

Let's see this team really pull it together and learn how to play without an all star between the pipes.

It's on them now.

It also doesn't necessarily mean that Ryan is out, right? He's probably just an emergency call up and if Ryan has a good practice tomorrow they can just send him back down, right? It's not like they are calling him up because they know 100% that Miller isn't going to be ready. Right? Right? Anyone?? :?

Correct. This could very well be precautionary.

Quote:
The Sabres were back on the practice rink Tuesday at the Northtown Center in Amherst.  Goaltender Ryan Miller, who sat out Monday’s practice with tightness in his lower body, participated in the session.  While a decision has not yet been made on whether Miller will start Wednesday when Buffalo hosts Boston, he said he was pleased with how he felt on the ice.

“I actually felt better today than I anticipated,” Miller said.  “I’ll keep going with treatment and come back tomorrow and see how I feel.”
