Went to the Sabres vs. Montreal game last night with my buddy (Canadiens fan). We sat in section 309, row 12, and there were Sabres fans on my side, and a bunch of Canadiens fans on his side.
Before the game we wanted to get some real authentic Buffalo wings. Even though I live in Rochester, I've never had the chance to get some
real Buffalo wings. So I asked Phil knowing he is a foodie, and he told us to go to Gabriel's Gate. The place was awesome, loved the atmosphere with the fires going. So Phil recommended that I get the French Onion Soup, Wings, and Ruben. ALL of it was amazing. The soup was a great starter, the wings were crispy and not too saucy, and the Ruben was just perfect.

Afterwards we stopped over at the Sweet Spot down the street, and each got a slice of the Chocolate Decadence cake. Perfect way to wrap up dinner.
The game was fun even though they lost and looked terrible in the third. One thing I noticed, and was rather kind of annoyed with, was the number of fans on the cell phones at all times during the games. I sat next to this real broski-type of Sabres fan, who had to take a picture of his can of beer (because nobody's ever seen a bud light can) and was on facebook ALL GAME. The three Sabres fans guys in the row in front of us were on facebook and twitter messaging eachother for most of the game. At any given time there were at least 10 people in front of me on their phones while the game was going on, and this was during the more intense parts of the game. The sad thing was that all of them were Sabres fans, the Canadiens fans were all cheering (and not being dicks about it). That was probably the only annoying part of the game.
Afterwards we went down to the 200 club level and watched Mike Robitaille and Kevin Sylvester do the post game show. Immediately after the show was done, someone put a neck brace on him.

Here are our seats:

Cell phone camera isn't that great.
Thanks for the recommendation Phil!
