Rinne is an amazing goaltender. Loved kennedy, and Myers (Looked good on the offensive side of the puck).

What happened to Sekera anyway? When I heard, "upper body injury" I figured that just meant he got his feelings hurt, but I never saw a replay.

This just goes to show that someone will almost always be injured, so the issue over who might get sent down, put on waivers, etc, may not be a very big deal.

I know you know it all but perhaps saying something positive or better than luke warm may benefit a young player. Especially coming from Darcy. But that's just me talking here. And I'm sorry anyone would ever question Darcy's motivations or decisions since he has a stellar track record.

The boys looked great tonight. We still seem to be having trouble scoring, despite an unbelievable shot advantage. Are we just taking garbage shots? Are these goalies just THAT good? Or are we just not getting any luck so far?

Oh well.

I know enough from watching every sport for 30 years that GMs are going to use an even blander version of "coach speak". Why does anyone get worked up over that stuff? Except for nut jobs or egomaniacs they all play it close to the vest. Darcy should be bland when talking about a huge rookie prospect, he's got enough pressure as it is.

They can give him all the reassurance they feel necessary behind closed doors, and be public about it once the decision is made to keep him. Fans can jump the gun all day every day, responsible GMs and coaches can't.

Rinne played off his shit tonight. 42 goddamned shots, and many were quality chances. Some of it was our stars shooting blind near the net, but most of it was Rinne being on his game.

But that would be a "lower body injury".

Myers had Chara-like minutes tonight. And looked good through all of them. His poke checks are ludicrous. He looked GREAT down low. And he hustles his ass off to get back into position after being caught out of it.

The top two lines look shitty. There needs to be something done.

Kennedy played with FIRE tonight. He takes the puck away like a beast.
