They can turn it around and still make the playoffs and win the Stanley Cup.

If they were losing games in a better fashion, I'd be a lot more hopeful. They're losing games they should win, putting in an exceedingly poor work ethic and just being inconsistent in general, which is why I'm starting to get very discouraged by this team.

Not a chance.
Best thing for this team after 4 seasons with this roster is a "Fire Sale".

I doubt it with how lazy they have been.

At least someone's optimistic.

Unfortunately, this team needs a lot more than optimism.

Man, if we had NHL hockey in Winnipeg, I'd be sooooo out of here... Oh well. Go Sabres!!

It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

They just need to simplify things. Go back to basics. Create a little bit less and work a little bit harder.

You know what their basics is....Having Miller stand on his head to single-handedly win games for them

I look at it this way: if you start the season 8-3-2, you pretty much make the playoffs in the month of October, no joke. However, if you start the season 3-8-2, you pretty much miss the playoffs by starting so poorly. It's going to be nearly impossible to catch up.

I really hope this team proves me wrong though.

Well, there's officially nowhere else to go now but up, as New Jersey just defeated Chicago, moving the Devils out of 30th overall...and the Sabres...

...like I said: Nowhere to go but up.

this was totally unexpected, but i think this is the real deal. this team may be good on paper, but they are not gelling in any way. honestly, having a poor season might be better for the team in the long run. get rid of excess players meanwhile getting some good young talent.

We're so bad. All I want to see is for us to play entertaining hockey more nights at home than we play shitty hockey.

I have absolutely no faith in management that they would pull of some miracles if we continue to have a shitty season. This team will suck for years to come

The only thing they will be playing at the end of the season is the wiffle ball championship against the other cities losers, the Bills. :( Damn, damn. I really thought this was going to be a special year.

Cmon...really? Years to come? Why don't we take it one season at a time rather than writing off the next 3-4 seasons.
