I really wish the Sabres would take a look at this EVERY TIME they left the locker room (as it is on their way out) and really take it to heart. Just because you made it to the big leagues doesn't mean you've reached your plateau for performance.

And everyone should be leading, not just the person wearing the C.

I really, just REALLY WISH, someone would step up. And by someone, I mean everyone.

Isn't it great? I think it is so well-written and inspiring. I saw it on my way out of the locker room and it made me want to get out there and give it my all.

I'm guessing it just doesn't phase them anymore after passing it time after time.

This is something that shouldn't be on the side of the wall for them to pass by. It should be over the doorway leading to the ice. Almost along the lines of Sabres greats from the past and SHKIII himself looking down on them as they head out for battle to fight for the logo, history of the team and the pride of the city.

That is one damn classy plaque!

I wish a fan would take a series of signs in the shape of a heart that say "Show some" and tape about four or five to the glass ringing around the end the sabres warm up in before a game. I think cities like Buffalo have the ability to motivate (or kick in the butt) their teams when necessary. ANd I don't think booing is the way to do that.

Well someone needs to make signs that have hearts on them then.

And that plaque is a good one, it's how I play my hockey games. Even if someone has two steps on me on a breakaway, I'm going to try and chase them down.

I did that my last game and went for the puck twice and almost got them, accidentally took out the goalie on them in my attempt at stopping the other team, and that is how I hurt my jaw too, never giving up.

I think every member of the team should have to memorize that, and before the game, in the locker room, whoever imposes this (or the first to memorize it) should lead the team in that chant. The recital of something much more meaningful than one's self.

There are a LOT of guys on this team that need to sign that pledge. I'm down with Harry's idea of enforcing it, too.
