It's too early to start talking about tanking, trading Ryan Miller, and giving up. It just is. Besides, is this even a good year to finish with a top 5 pick?! Is there a Steven Stamkos or even a Taveras ready to enter the NHL next season? And if it does reach the point of blowing up the team why would anybody want a 6+ million dollar goalie when you can reach the SCF with curtain jerkers getting paid 1 or 2 million? And just like last summer, who exactly is going to save the world via UFA next season?

It's time to restore faith in Mr. Miller, faith that he will get back to health and lead the charge back to respectability. In the meantime there's plenty of other VERY CORRECTABLE areas for the team to focus on improving.

Power Play.
Penalty Kill.
Passing for fucks sakes passing.
And just finding a fuck you attitude out there, there's too much ME out there, not enough sacrifice for the WE.

Maybe Neidermeyer needs to take some of the guys to the cancer ward in some of the Buffalo area hospitals and watch peoples eyes light up when they handle his Ring, maybe then they will get some idea of what being a winer is really about. I think Butler gets it, I think he's trying to evolve his attitude. You know...

I like the way Butler is playing. Last year all the hate on him was warranted, and this year he has been one of our best defenders, same with Sekera.

I'll agree with this. This team is NOT that far removed from last years club(which was satisfactory). If Miller's injury persists, then I'll be forced to concede we will suck.
