We played a bad first period. We could not clear the puck out of our zone. Enroth gave up a soft goal. All is unacceptable. Crank up the scoring machine, Vanek and Connolly especially.

Connolly is overdue for a scratch based on his performance. I doubt he wants to learn from Stafford, who is learning the hard way.
