They are going to get slaughtered these next 5 games.
Was twice with Van, LA and Tampa, all offensive powerhouses.
Not really what Buffalo needs to see right now. I predict 0 - 5 unfortunately, unless Darcy takes some drastic measures to right the ship.

I predict 8 losses in a row...I'm a big fan of managing expectations.

I'm cautiously predicting a 7-4-2 record at the end of November.

I would have gone with the remainder of the months schedule, but then I saw Toronto squeezed in there :D

We win 8 in a row, so fuck you all. :p haha.

I honestly don't see it that bad right now. I would say their toughest game might be LA in that stretch. Wash will be tough but we've had good luck against them still, and Vancouver, well, I don't see them enough to judge them against us, even though they are winning games.

Keep in mind that the easiest games to be loose for are the ones you're EXPECTED to lose.

The Sabres will be a clear underdog in the next 5 games. As another poster suggests, they'll be facing some of the most potent offenses in the league at the moment, though generally speaking, the pressure is more on their opponents.

If we get 5 points out of those 5 games, I will shit myself with happiness...

Vancouver will be nearing the end of their east coast trip when they come into town. Just like we were when we went into Vancouver last year. I don't expect an easy game but I dont expect them to be their usual selves.

Well, November's in the books:

11/3 Boston @ Buffalo L 5-2
11/5 Montreal @ Buffalo L 3-2
11/6 Buffalo @ Toronto W 3-2
11/10 Buffalo @ New Jersey W 5-4
11/11 Buffalo @ NY Rangers OTL 3-2
11/13 Washington @ Buffalo W 3-2
11/15 Vancouver @ Buffalo W 4-3
11/17 Buffalo @ Washington L 4-2
11/19 Los Angeles @ Buffalo W 4-2
11/20 Tampa Bay @ Buffalo L 2-1
11/24 Pittsburgh @ Buffalo L 1-0
11/26 Toronto @ Buffalo W 3-1
11/27 Buffalo @ Montreal L 3-1

Final tally:
6-6-1

Points-wise, exactly .500

Since September was 3-7-2, definitely an improvement, but certainly not the level the Sabres need to play at from here on out.

Jason, Timmy, Jochen, Paul......brother, can you spare a goal?

At 9-13-3 (21 pts.), the Sabres need to win 35 of the remaining 57 games to hit 91 points (if that can secure 8th). That would be a record of 35-22 from here on.

To put it more simply: They need to win at least 3 out of every 5, including a couple of OTL's to make it happen.
