they do ok, just ok, when they are in the opponents zone... in the neutral zone or even worse in their zone they are god awful! Its been 3 or 4 games now that the Roy-vanek-ennis line simply gets owned in their own zone and can not get it out... its annoying.... fix it

...hrmmm.

I don't know what to make of this game so far. I can't tell if we're about to get slaughtered, or if we're going to keep it close.

If the hockey gods are on our side, then the Caps will have bad luck in that end of the rink next period. Wow, I haven't seen so many players lose edges like that in a while. Myers and Monty need to see the trainer to have their skates get the Teppo treatment!

Over all, considering who we're playing and beside the score, I was ok with their play that period. They're winning puck battles, I thought Kaleta showed some real good foot work on that run down with their goalie. We're getting chances and honestly, I think we're looking better work wise than the Craps. They just got lucky.

This period if we show more of the same work, dig in and keep winning the battles, Miller keeps on shutting things down and the fans boo the ever loving shit out of Ovechkin and completely demoralize him, and we're winning this game. Book it.

isn't this the 4th game together... you'd expect to see strides by now, they look the same... owned in their zone... can't get it out... i know, only 4 games, but they are scary, and not scary good when they end up in the buffalo zone....

Ennis may be too fast for even a line that is hopped up on coke and powerthirst, but they'll figure it out. Just get into place and let him play the role of water bug out there. They'll get something going!

i agree and im not trying to be a debbie downer... ive been begging and pleading for Ennis in the top 6... and he is there now, needs to stay there, but they need to get it together!

so if its 2 2 min penalties and they score inside 2 min do they still get another 2 min?
