Yes, it happens very often actually. I'm sure before the game is over they will give Vanek credit.

stamkos has already 10! PPG
2nd ranked 6 PPG
Vanek 4 PPG now. the Stats are very important to him. so 2 more PPG today okay? he needs more confidence
