With Patrick O'Sullivan (25 yr old center that put up 53 points one season) on waivers if I'm Regier I claim him, he's on a 2 way, 600k 1 year contract. Couldn't hurt the Center depth none.

I'd like a trade for Penner from Edmonton as well. Send them a Stafford, Rivet, Butler and draft pick (2nd rounder) for him. They need defense anyways.

I don't like this lineup. What's your obsession with Penner? He has scored +30 goals once in his career and doesn't use his body as he should. He is inconsistent and a rich man's Drew Stafford.

Mancari has a great shot. Unfortunately that's all and I have only seen 1 good game from him in a Sabres jersey (last season or 2 years ago, I'm not sure).

I don't believe Mancari has been given a fair shake by the organization is all.
He hasn't been called up for any serious length of a time and when he played with Vanek and Roy he looked good.

I would like to see him for a 20 game stint or so on line 3 RW.

As for Penner, he may be available more than most RWer's this season and comes at a reasonable cap hit for his production at 4.25 mil for 2 seasons.

Didn't get a fair shake? He's had 4 training camps to try and get onto the NHL roster. He hasn't been able to beat out Kaleta, Kennedy, McCormick, Gerbe, Ellis, or Mair.

He's had his chances. He hasn't done enough to earn it.

In my opinion 4 camps and preseasons is a fair chance. If you put him on a line with Roy and Vanek now he would get some points, but who wouldn't?

I think Penner's production is a bit low for 4,25 mil. He had 60+ points last season and that was his career high. Granted, he never played on a decent team.

Mancari and Penner are both players who are not playing up to their potential and that's what I hate (Stafford and Connolly all over again).
It's just the opinion from another arm chair GM though
