At the very beginning he mentions "Pommers", something to the effect of, "what do you want him to do?".

I think they needed to put some heavy emphasis on the power play, it's especially important when you're not getting much even strength scoring from more than one line. If the team wasn't already intensely aware of how important it is to get that aspect of their game to a respectable level, they are now.

As for Connolly's eye, I don't care. If you're going to play like a bum you may as well look like one too, and I'm glad he's out of the lineup.

imagine where this team could be if lindy had them working like they did in 98 and 99? he wouldnt allow quit or anything in those teams. granted, the talent level on those teams was palpable.

He was barking at Van for a lack of puck support for Pommers.

Our biggest problem on the power play has been the lack of urgency in terms of how quickly they move the puck, but also how quickly they come to support one another when they run into pressure.

Pommers probably carried the puck in and was cut off by our sick penalty kill and couldn't do anything with the puck because he had no support.

Roy and Gerbe got bitched at because they were cutting through the middle where they're supposed to be, which would also give Pommers some passing options.

Roby went on Howard Simon this morning and didn't deny it. In fact, he said it happens multiple times throughout a season without anyone even finding out about it.

I do have a hard time believing that Roy would pull this at a Charity Event though.

It's very possible that Roy and Connolly got into it at some point in the locker room. It's damn near impossible that they did it at a charity event with hundreds of potential witnesses.

The fact that people are putting any credence to this is just laughable.
