I might have to get into writing. First I have to get my self-concept up a bit, though, because as it is now I don't really see myself capable of doing anything even though cognitively I know nothing could be further from the truth. I started writing an actual novel when I was fourteen and got about fifty pages in before giving up, but everything I am naturally the best at indicates that I should be able to write books fairly well.

Still not over the girl. Last night was good - I got to hang out with some people from college. Just got to forget about things for a while. Today hasn't been great though. We're talking, and it's not like things ended horribly.... but it hurts. I miss her.

but seriously, breaking up sucks, and its natural to pine for her. the worst kind of break up is a 1 sided break up. my first girlfriend had a new boyfriend the night we broke up. needless to say, it drove me crazy.

it wasnt his fault. they were friends, and im not really the jealous type. well, wasnt. i didnt care she hung out with all her friends, but i should have known something was up. she got more distant, and we started hanging out and talking less.

she was out of my league anyways. but i did go crazy. i was obsessing over it. but i saw him a short time after, and he thought i was gonna kill him. i said i wasnt mad at him. its not his fault.

they dated a few months, then she left him for the drummer in his band; a chick. she went gay for a while, back to straight, back to gay, now shes straight again.

the one thing i take from it is the boyfriend prior to me was craig owens, the former lead singer of the band chiodos. they got pretty famous. anyways, he couldnt get in her pants, i did. i feel like i accomplished something.

i'm 25, still trying to get my bachelor's in english/english education, still not submitting anything i write for publication (hopefully that will change over the break, and i'm also behind this semester.

i have a lot of things to make up for an italian class, a bit of reading to catchh up on, and some papers which i haven't started that are due within the next week or so. i'm not horribly behind, but i have to get on the ball.

i wish i was younger.

I seem to have the same issues as most here. College stress, not going to class consistently catching up, finals, not understanding what the fuck we're studying in physics (RLC circuits, loads, AC circuits), etc. I just found out an uncle has pancreatic cancer (aka the absolute most lethal cancer you can get) and has less than 6 months to live, etc.
