What I am addressing is this unwavering and undying misguided notion that I am currently doing what you're suggesting.

In the past, the mods had an issue with that--which resulted in me being unceremoniously, and without warning, BANNED for 5 days just because I had inadvertently started a couple of simiar threads. I thought that was total bullshit and felt blindsided, but we moved on. Since then, I have been especially careful about NOT creating threads that are too similar in content. Yet, I am still hearing from wannabe-mods who are compelled to make unsupported judgements about something that is A) not their domain, and B) already been dealt with by the mods.

I just don't understand why some are so consumed with this BS. I don't bother commenting on the posting practices of others. That's what the MODS are for.

PP, if someone tells you your thread is useless, just don't even respond. They can't do anything but complain, so might as well leave them to their business. I honestly think this thread is fine on it's own. It's a poll, and a poll can't be placed in a huge thread.

If a mod thinks the thread is a repeat of another thread they can act accordingly. But I don't see a reason to ridicule him for making threads.

So in the past you have been banned for making too many similarly themed threads....and you just had your "False Alarm" thread locked because it was a repeat....so I'm not talking about "the past". You do make too many threads and many people have commented on it. Your reaction? "They all are wrong, misguided and being mod-wannabes." Well okay then.

I doubt a rumored sale of a team makes any difference; however, if a sale is finalized, changes will be ahead in some way. Players will need to step up their game. Any changes in the front office or coaching staff may affect who stays playing good and who leaves playing bad.
