honestly that played a little part in it, but a trade just compeleted is gonna drain me of me centres, so i added him

arnott will suit me nicely, so i put him back on the table for ya

So it's to the point where I'm considering dropping Tyler Myers in my league and picking up Cam Fowler. My defensive corps consists of Letang, Lidstrom, Campbell, Kimmo Timonen, Myers and Kevin Shattenkirk. From a statistical viewpoint, Myers has been my worst d-man this season, but he his ceiling is too goddamn high for me to drop him. And when you factor in the homer goggles, it gets even more difficult.

In a similar situation with Ennis, as well!

okay, having an issue. I have Savard on IR and Phaneuf on the Bench. Now, Savard is coming back Saturday so I'm trying to move Phaneuf to IR and Savard to Center. I have to keep get Phaneuf onto the IR slot so I don't have too many player activated. I make the switch, things run smoothly. For the day I make the switch, things are changed but when I click to the next day, Savard is shifted back to the IR slot again. WTF?

I'm going to love my goalies.

Got a shutout with Niemi tonight, so hopefully he finally turns it on and Nittymaki starts to suck for the Sharks so he gets all the future starts, and hopefully Turco rebounds tomorrow.

And Hell yea Crosby, hattrick tonight.

I want another goalie. :( I do love the look of my team though. Can't find anyone that I'd want to drop.

If Gigi can pull it together and Garon from Columbus can get some consistent play in front of him, I won't be too bad. I got Elliot too, so we'll see.

Trying to figure something out. the team I'm playing had a 1.00 and a 73.47 GAA showing in two nights but is averaged out to be 2.92? WTF? also has .974 and .333 SV% but somehow averages out to .927. What the he'll am I missing? I should be killing in goalie stats because of Hedbergs performance but I'm not....um....huh?

The GAA is probably calculated with the minutes played. The 73.47 goalie probably didn't play a full period, the 1.00 played a full game. Let's say the first one played 10 min, that gives you 70 min of play with a certain number of goals -> goals/70 = Goals per minute -> Gpm*60 = GAA so basically it's GAA=goals*60/(minutes played)

Save percentage equals shots stopped/shots on goal. The 0.333 goalie probably didn't face a lot of shots, therefore his stat has not as much weight as the other one. Let's say he stopped 1 of 3 shots. The other one stopped 37 of 38 shots -> SV%= 38/41 = .927

That's my guess.

I'm thinking about just benching my goalies now, because I could win the goalie stats by benching both my goalies since Niemi has a shutout and Turco hasn't played yet. Especially with Chicago facing Vancouver tonight.

...and that's why having no rule for minimum games started is wrong

Yea, but I'm not going to do that, because I want wins and starts stats too.

I'd tried to trade with HP about a month ago, but the guy was never checking his team. :x

Awesome, got Halak, Turco, and Niemi. Now Turco needs to not suck, and same with Niemi. And the Blues need to start scoring.
