Yea I know lol and for the official record, I only said if I were Dominic Moore that I would challenge Bertuzzi, to which the assumption was made and the next few comments claimed I could take down Bertuzzi lol.

And to the comment on "alcohol is bad" said above, Newcastle is beyond regular beer, it's a meal.

Didn't go exactly like that. It started with someone saying something to the affect of "OMGWTF no one could ever take a hockey playa!!!" and I was explaining that it doesn't mean they're gods and if it were built on EMOTION, like Dom Moore would be on Bertuzzi, that he should definitely do it. Someone said something like "Moore could never take Bertuzzi so he SHOULD NOT fight"

It was also a comment on how some people had said Steve Moore has completely forgiven Bertuzzi...which is not true, at all.

Some people think pro sports = greatest fighter ever and cannot be beaten by anyone. You don't think you could take Nathan Gerbe in brawl? 0_0

Don't try and walk it back. You said plain as day that you could probably take Bertuzzi.

I've seen you. You could probably take Gerbe, and be on even terms with Ennis. Past that, you'd be in trouble.

Talking civilly, you don't have a group of favorite players? There are those of us who root for other players than the Ovechkin/Crosby type bandwagon. Not going to lie, Dan Paille, Matt Ellis, Nolan Pratt and Paul Gaustad have been some of my favorite Sabres over the years. Why? They work hard, and they aren't superstars. They aren't going to pot many goals, if at all. They play a defensive, tough, game.

It's like Pos for the Bills. He's never going to be gamebreaking and make the game winning pick or drive stopping sack (at least, often) but he plays hard every play, and doesn't stop. If the bandwagon is still the Manny Ramirez/Albert Haynesworth type players, then so be it.

I could say the same for the circle jerk love of certain players that people have favorited, but I don't.

Don't see much wrong in having favorites.

In the heat of emotion, yes I would. I've fought tougher guys than me plenty of times, most of the time ill-advised. (I say tougher because I haven't played against many bigger. I'm 6'2" 235, although most of that 235 is round and squishy. :p) After that 3rd or 4th good shot to the face I usually realize I made a mistake and turtle up so I don't get hurt.

If I was in Dom's position? Yeah, I probably would have. But I would never even think that I could take on an NHL player who has more fights against top tier fighters than I've ever been in. You said that, as much as you try to worm out of it.

Ok then what's done is done. Maybe I was talking with my emotions a little more than I should have but that's it.

Fair enough.
