Sabres are currently 4-3-1 this month. They earned a win against the Bruins and dropped two winnable games on a shoddy weekend trip to Florida and Tampa Bay.

Two winnable home games are lined up this week, Anaheim on Tuesday and Florida on Thursday.

My predicitions for the month is now shot. Losing another winnable game to Florida is one loss too many. Current record for the month: 5-4-1.

The winnable loss to the Flames was another loss too many. That and the win against the Oilers bring the Sabres to 6-5-1. It is okay, but it is the same story in another month, the team is yet is string out a series of wins.

Yea, they will need to go on a great January to have a shot at the playoffs this year. We go under .500 in January the playoffs are way to hard to make.

We could hope for everything to have a good month of winning in January. The simplest best thing to occur is for our players to step up and play better winning games. They can do that if they are willing.
