I'm waiting to hear what Colin Campbell has to say about that last penalty.

I thought I saw a cut on Savard's face when he was sitting on the bench? Does it really matter anyways, I'm pretty sure Boston scored while Adam was serving the first half of the double-minor.

They clearly did.

Take Weber's giveaway away they win that game.

Ok, lets take away Weber's giveaway and give them all the wide open nets they missed. We did not deserve to win that game.

I'm still pissed we gave it away though, we needed to steal that one.

Well there was the 07-08 I'm afraid of the post Ryan Miller special that Lucic got.

I don't know why anyone is insisting the guy didn't bleed. He CLEARLY had a cut and blood visible near his eye. Or was that the fake Halloween-type blood?

What the fuck is this 'deserved' bullshit? If they had won the game 2-1 would you still be bitching about how they didn't deserve it?

Fucking ponderous.

I'm just frustrated on how they lost. Checking the stats, they were very even or better than Boston so I take back what I said about losing to physical teams (this game). I just when they lost because of retarded mistakes and missed chances.

Actually, I would have. I was talking with my friends about how the game had gotten away from the Sabres, and we were unbelievably fortunate to somehow have a lead. We would have robbed Boston of those points had we won.

I wanted it desperately, but we were badly outplayed.

Yes, they lost on a frustrating play. That doesn't take away from the fact that they were leading under 10 minutes to go.

If it makes you feel any better, I thought Boston missed many more opportunites than the Sabres. A bunch of dings courtesy of Lucic & Horton.

The Sabres were pretty dominate in the first period and then Boston came back in the second and played harder. Both teams had great chances that they didn't bury. Boston just knows how to take advantage of mistakes made by the opposition unlike the sabres. The mistake by Weber and the chance Roy is are perfect examples on how Boston took advantage of a mistake and the Sabres didn't.

I don't see how you can say that, they took it to overtime and deserved to win just as much as Boston did at that point. You can't just say that the team didn't deserve to win because they missed all those opportunites...do you realize how many missed opportunities there are by every team on any given night in the NHL?

I knew this game would be a loss, but to leave it in overtime with a point is good enough for me.

Derek Roy, shoot the damn puck when no other Bruins are in their zone except Tim Thomas. You waited too long and gave away the puck.

Webers giveaway was rough, but don't forget, McCormick is the one that didnt get the puck the extra 2 feet past the blue line.

Assuming Butler and Weber were a defensive pairing tonight, they stink a joint like the Wet Bandits.

Oh, absolutely. Don't get it twisted, I wanted that win as much as anyone on here. I honestly thought we were outplayed for the vast majority of the game, including a metric ton of missed empty nets by the Bruins.

There are times where the Sabres are outplayed and I still feel like they deserved to win, but tonight, it seemed like we were just lucky that it wasn't a blowout in the Bruins favor.

I'm sure you wanted the Sabres to win, I wasn't implying that you didn't. But I just don't see how you think the Sabres got "lucky" that this wasn't a blowout by Boston. Teams usually make their own luck. The game was evenly matched for essentially the entire game. It's not as if the Sabres clung on and barely kept up with Boston and were lucky to make it to overtime. On the contrary, they controlled the 3rd period up until that terrible giveaway.
