whats with the pass just as or before you gain the blue line... im seeing that game in and game out and i hate it... it seems dumb, explain it please...

It pushes the defense closer to the net, and allows for us to gain more room at the blueline. Have a guy about to go into the corner and pass it back to the blueline, and hope he shoots it from there. Or holds it and allows a nice set-up.

Well when Pominville had the puck then passed it he was at the circles and Hecht or whoever had plenty of space to shoot the puck.
