Not sure why, but this one caught my eye last night so I watched and glad I tuned in. This game was actually pretty good. Back and forth action with great goaltending at both ends and hella fast!

The shootout was awesome and Eberle's goal was pretty sweet! The winner by Omark was very hot-doggish but god damn it added to the dramatics

Also, props to Khabibulin for keeping Stamkos off the score sheet in the shootout with that glove save!

1) Nothing wrong with Omark's showboat goal...he's got a reputation as a shootout demon to uphold.

2) The hype around the goal is dumb. Sure the spinorama/slap-deke/stick-smack is cool, but Ellis SUCKS.

3) Bolts need to clean the sand outta thei vagoos.

From a fan perspective, I thought the spin-o-rama/fake-slapper/turn the goalie's jock inside out and make him pee himself move was absolutely retarded disgusting, in the most tasteful of ways I'd be pissed if he made me look like a fool as well on the play but at the same time, if he pulled that move on my goalie I'd be the first to say god damn man, you just got bum rushed. I'd still feel a bit made a fool of though, but whatever. As the coach said, the shoot out is there for a reason. I don't recall anyone saying anything on Malik's goal against the Caps a few years back..

Good that TB lost, albeit regulation would have been nice. Atlanta lost too which also helps us out.

Why is this such a big goal? He spun. Lovely. That did nothing but prove he can show boat. Then he takes a WEAK WEAK five hole shot on Ellis, who should be hanging himself right now.
