I had this really tough case project due for my tax class. Like, I seriously think between every one of my group members combined for a total of 140 man hours on the project. I spent at least two nights up on my own working on it until 2 in the morning and one day from like 9 am until my group got there around 4 pm or so. Literally one of the hardest things I've had to work on during school ever and it is worth the same amount as a test (21%), so it carries a lot of weight onto our grade.

Anyway, we get grades back today and one of my group members was in an earlier class than me (I have it at 3:00 pm today) and she texted me to let me know we got a 92.5 on the project! I am so happy about it! Class average was an 84 so we did a lot better on it than the rest of the class. Nice thing about this class, too, is that an 83 overall average currently translates to an A-. With this grade, I can get a 54 on the final and get an A-. I really want an A, though, so I will definitely be aiming higher. It's just really nice knowing that a lot won't be riding on the final. I would still like to get at least an 85 on it.

Sigh of relief, though. I'm so happy about this!

I just posted that to a friend's Facebook wall lol... Hopefully it works. He legitimately likes that song (so do I, though, so).

I'm so ready to be finished with this semester. I've written over fifty pages the last two and a half days and still have 15-20 to go this weekend. :? I've been sleeping about two hours a night on my living room floor lol and eating just dinner every day in my apartment and not at the cafeteria to socialize because I don't have time. It's kind of ridiculous.

I just got Rick Rolled over the phone by some computer-generated number. I am pretty sure I know who is behind it.

Perhaps it wasn't your aura of intelligence, but rather that I stole all of your intelligence.

I'll never forget that happening. :laughing-rolling:

Shut up. I had a sweet hat on. You should have known!

I am really drunk right now and I keep making a lot of typos. It doesn't help I've been using a PC for over a week while my MacBook was being repaired. They replaced my outer casing, keyboard, and trackpad. Everything feels brand new and I'm not used to it. Definitely doesn't help that I'm drunk

1 goal 1 assist 6 PIMS in our first game...solid stats, but I really take issue with the roughing calls I got. One for a shove after the whistle, the other for grabbing a dudes stick and throwing it after the whistle...come on this is hockey, and the throwing of your opponents stick is hilarious, not penalty worthy.

We've never had two games on the same day, yet at 11am either.

All of our games our after 2pm. Thankfully, but we have had some 10:45pm games and those are tough ones sometimes.

I let myself take a break from writing papers last night after 5:00 when I finished one that ended up being forty-two pages long to go a Christmas party at a friend's apartment which I purposely allowed to turn into the rest of the night until 8:00 in the morning, and I think maybe that was a bad idea because my brain isn't working at the moment for writing a paper I still need to get done. I went because I'd been working two and a half days straight at that point and had only eaten a couple meals and hadn't really slept during that time, and I wanted a real meal and dessert, plus my friend made a pizza at like 3:00 in the morning because a couple of us got hungry again... It was good to eat and hang out, but I want my motivation back.

Yeah, the throwing of your opponents stick is hilarious, but you can't do that.

Playing in what we call the "Old Dogs Stocking Stuffer" We play 2 games today, then double elimination title game tomorrow.

It's a fun tournament 20 mins running clock, pull and go on the goals, limited check... wide open hockey for the most part.
