Buffalo fans get obnoxious BECAUSE THEY GET DRUNK.

During the 06 Playoffs, Buffalo Fans came into the RBC center wildly drunk and were very rude.

You might not have heard of those things, but living here, I've heard plenty of stories of the Buffalo fans coming to the RBC drunk as can be and being very rude. On the news and from people who went to the games.

That title is ridiculous, the first 5 or 6 people she interviewed knew about Hockey. I laughed at the guy in the gay third, I hate the Carolina Thirds, who was a Sabres fan and his son a Hurricanes fan.

Did anyone happen to catch the guy say they do it 42 times a year, haha one game off buddy.

Uhh...we've been hearing the bitching and moaning about how ~terrible~ Sabres fans are ever since the 05-06 playoffs.

We're just passionate about our team. Hurricanes fans don't have half the passion that Sabres fans have, and they never will...even though they're a Cup winning franchise.

No, the reason is a few drunk Buffalo Fans came into the RBC Center and caused a ruckuc, and that started whole rivalry which is nonsense to me anyways.

Drunk Buffalo Fans, not a surprise really. But apparently they were trying to start fights and were really rude to the fans during that time.

I can see it because of how passionate We are about our team, but that draws the line of what those few fans did, of course not everyone is like that, but only one person can change the viewpoint on thousands of people, heck even millions.

And you'd be surprised at some Canes fans and how passionate they are. There is always those people in sports.

That's what fans do. I've seen plenty of drunk home fans start shit with visiting fans too. There were probably just as many drunk Canes fans in RBC for those incidents. It's not like Sabres fans are the black and white bad guys here, there was probably stupidity on both sides. Be a little objective.

I never said anything about the Canes fans not being drunk, I'm sure they were also, I just never mentioned them, because most home team fans are probably drunk and won't do anything unless egged on or seeing stupidity.

I just said this whole thing blew up because of Some Sabres fans who were rude and went a little to far that series, which in case led to a huge stupid rivalry against the fans.

It was taken too far, and has hurt the reps of both organizations in the respected viewpoints.

Carolina hates Buffalo for the few fans who did stuff, and Buffalo hates anyone who knocks them out of the playoffs when they would have won.

This wasn't a "wah sabres fans are being mean moment," as you seem to want to paint it. It didn't blow up because some Sabres fans were rude. It blew up because there were idiots on BOTH SIDES. It wasn't just some sabres fans were being rude that blew up the situation, it was fans being rude on both sides. Did the canes fans start shit? We don't know. In the 30-40 games I've been to between the Sabres, Bills, Crunch and Skychiefs, it has been the home fans starting shit EVERY SINGLE TIME. Not saying that's the case, but I have a hard time believing its "those mean little sabres fans."
